Naattu Sakkarai is organic and it is naturally produced by boiling sugar cane juice in a particular consistency. It improves digestion and avoids unnecessary acid secretion in the stomach which causes ulcers.
You can substitute jaggery for granulated whitesugar in many recipes. You will need to use about one-and-a-half times the amount of jaggery to achieve the equivalent level of sweetness.
