Aavaaram, Cassia auriculata, is an evergreen medicinal shrub with attractive bright yellow colour flowers. The use of plants as therapeutic agents in addition to food is age long. It is a common plant in Asia, profoundly used in Ayurvedic medicine as a tonic, astringent and as a remedy for diabetes, conjunctivitis and opthalmia.

Plants grown in the atmosphere of serene nature and chemical free condition are identified. Mature aavaaram flowers are collected during the early morning hours. After grading the flowers, petals are evaluated in terms of maturity, breakage and pests.
The flowers are dried under cool shade. After 21 days of dehydration process, dried petals are taken for pulverizing as per the quality control norms approved by the R&D Team. Further, the powder is transferred for moisture content standardization and the formulated powder is packed in exclusively designed glass bottles in a hygienic way.
