AMRITA BHALLATAKA LEHYAM;

Amrita Bhallataka Lehya is a complex ayurvedic Rasayana. It is a medicinal formula that was developed by the ayurvedic seers of the medieval period. It is a powerful medicine prepared exclusively from herbal ingredients, purified naturally occurring minerals. This unique formula for improving hair health, relieving Hemorrhoids and enhancing youthfulness is derived from the ayurvedic book called ‘Yogaratnakara’ which was compiled in the seventeenth century.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Semicarpus anacardium - is a cardiac stimulant, enhancer of white blood cells, and used to cure cardiac debility. Bhallataka is good for both male and female reproductive systems, in women it stimulates the uterus due to its hot potency. In men, it is used for improving sperm count and sexual power.

Saccharum officinarum - treatment of jaundice, hemorrhage, dysuria, anuria, and other urinary diseases.

Cinnamomum camphora - used traditionally for the treatment of heart conditions, colds, and fevers, respiratory complaints such as pneumonia, inflammatory conditions, infections, diarrhea, and hysteria.

Nardostachys jatamansi - is used as a good stimulant, antispasmodic, tonic, laxative and antiepileptic.

Operculina turpethum - used to treat skin disorders and a variety of illnesses like obesity, tumors, herpes, fever, and bronchitis. A fine paste of turmeric and trivet can be applied for chronic ulcers and wounds. It is also used in chronic skin oozing problems.

Curcuma angustifolia -used to soothe coughs and as such is used to treat bronchitis. Essential oils from C. Angustifolia have been extracted and are used in antifungal medications.

Tinospora cordifolia - has importance in traditional ayurvedic medicine used for ages in the treatment of fever, jaundice, chronic diarrhea, cancer, dysentery, bone fracture, pain, asthma, skin disease, poisonous insect, snake bite, eye disorders.

Anacyclus pyrethrum -is used as a sex stimulant, antidiabetic, antioxidant, treating asthma, cardiac diseases, and throat problems, remove laziness, nerves weakness, carminative, stomach, arthritis, sciatica, diuretic, tooth and gum problems, aphrodisiacs, hiccoughs, epilepsy, headache, pains, muscle relaxant, worm infestation.

Piper longum - is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.

Piper nigrum - has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anticonvulsant, and neuroprotective effects.

Syzygium aromaticum - has been used for centuries in the treatment of vomiting; flatulence; nausea; liver, bowel, and stomach disorders; and as a stimulant for the nerves. In tropical Asia, cloves have been documented to relieve different microorganisms as scabies, cholera, malaria, and tuberculosis.

Chlorophytum borivillianum - is considered as a curative of Natal and Post Natal Problems and a cure for Diabetes and Arthritis. Its root powder is fried in ghee and chewed in case of aphthae of mouth and throat. It is effective in curing rheumatism and joint pains.

Curculigo Orchioides - is used for the treatment of impotence, limb limpness, arthritis of the lumbar and knee joints, and watery diarrhea.

Pimenta dioica -promote circulation and relieve muscle pain, arthritis and tiredness.

Bombax ceiba - are used in the treatment of cholera, tubercular fistula, coughs, urinary complaints, nocturnal pollution, abdominal pain due to dysentery, and impotency

Piper longum - is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.

Valeriana wallichii - use valerian for depression, mild tremors, epilepsy, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Valerian is used for muscle and joint pain. Some women use valerian for menstrual cramps and symptoms associated with menopause, including hot flashes and anxiety.

Scindapsus officinalis - is often used traditionally for erectile disorders, respiratory diseases such as cough, bronchitis, pharyngitis, asthma and other worm infestation, dysentery, troubles of the throat, ozone, rheumatism arthritis, and diarrhea.

Pueraria tuberose -has been used in various ayurvedic formulations as restorative tonic, antiaging, spermatogenic, and immune booster and has been recommended for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, hepatosplenomegaly, fertility disorders, menopausal syndrome, sexual debility and spermatorrhoea.

Myristica fragrans -is a well-known aromatic perennial plant with a characteristic scent that possesses multiple medicinal applications, being used to treat stomach ulcers, indigestion, liver disorders, and as emmenagogue, nervine, diuretic, diaphoretic, and aphrodisiac.

Cyperus rotunda -is a medicinal herb traditionally used to treat various clinical conditions at homes such as diarrhea, diabetes, pyretic, inflammation, malaria, and stomach and bowel disorders.

Cinnamomum tamala -is an Ayurveda herb mentioned for the treatment of bad odor from the mouth, black spots on the face, dental caries, swelling, cough, and complications of tuberculosis.

Carum carvi - is used to excrete out extra phlegm and is good for relieving cough and congestion. This herb is also beneficial for treating intestinal worms in children and other stomach-related problems. It is also a very beneficial herb for treating acid reflux.

Aquilaria agallocha - is used in treating diseases related to ear, nose, throat, asthma, cough, etc.

Asparagus racemosa - upset stomach (dyspepsia), constipation, stomach spasms, and stomach ulcers. It is also used for fluid retention, pain, anxiety, cancer, diarrhea, bronchitis, tuberculosis, dementia, and diabetes.

Lohabhasma - is an effective remedy for chronic fever, phthisis, Breathlessness, etc., and possesses vitality enhancing strength promoting, and anti-aging properties.

Rasabhasma -for treating acute and chronic diseases.

Vangabhasma - is used in the treatment of a genitourinary disorder, diabetes, anemia, asthma gastric ulcers, and urinary diseases.

Abhraka bhasma - is used for improving digestion due to its Deepan (appetizer) and Pachan (digestive) properties. Abhrak bhasma helps in getting rid of cough and cold, chest congestion breathlessness, excessive cough due to its Kapha balancing property

Crocus sativus -most commonly for depression, anxiety, Alzheimer's disease, menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea), and premenstrual syndrome (PMS).

Zingiber oficinale - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.

INDICATIONS;

It is used to treat Chronic Skin diseases.

It is used to treat Non-Bleeding Piles.

It is used to treat Leprosy.

It is used to treat Diabetes.

It is used to treat Dyspepsia.

It is used to treat Weakness.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

It is normally recommended to consume grams to 3 grams of this lehya two times a day with milk after food.

It is advisable to consult an ayurvedic physician before consuming this product to know your personalized dosage depending on your physical condition, spiritual orientation, and mental state which will be evaluated by the physician.

PRECAUTIONS

This medicine is not recommended for pregnant women and lactating mothers.

It shall be given in very mild, minute doses in children if insisted by an ayurvedic physician.

It is advisable to not consume this medicine without the recommendations of an ayurvedic physician.

This medicine can react with allopathic medicines and hence it is advisable to consume this medicine at least 30 minutes after consuming the allopathic medicine

Amrita Bhallataka Lehya should be administered with caution in people who have a Pitta dominant body condition.

It might contain naturally occurring minerals like tin, mica, and copper and is not recommended for people with liver and kidney diseases.
